Bronycon is coming up, and Wanderer D will be there!
Besides the Golden Oaks Bookstore, I'll be part of some amazing panels with some wonderful people!
Regarding the books and bookstore:
I will be at the Golden Oaks Bookstore on the sales floor on Thursday from 2PM to 3PM, and on Friday 1PM to 2PM. That doesn't mean it's the only times you can buy my books, it's just the times so far I'll definitely be on the sales floor.
Why yes, I do read books. Lots of books. I read four this week. And tried to read a fifth that I had to put down because it was basically a telly, poorly researched, perspective hopping mess.
I've been reading lesbian fiction lately. Surprise, right? Romance and coming of age, coming out, etc. So here's a few short recommendations and one "Sorry, but you tried" recommendation.
More below the break!
I've had a busy year preparing for Twilight's Book Nook at Everfree Northwest, and a big part of that has been finalizing new Ponyfeather titles to debut there. The Book Nook's inventory is winding its way through Fedex's network as we speak, and with just a couple weeks to go it seemed like an appropriate time to announce what you can look forward to in August.
If you've been reading my blog posts for a long time, you may have noticed that I posted a lot of theory articles in 2014, but that stream ran gradually thinner and shallower, until now I post less than one a month, and I've left my biggest teasers (the principal component of art and the general evolutionary theory of
GAH! YOU AGAIN!
Me again! Mwhahahaha!
Comma, for the love of—give me back my journal.
Begone O Chengar! I have things to say and a platform to say it on!
… huh, that usually works.
Anyway!
Oh god, a print run and I’m not ready!
This chapter opens with a surprising display of humility from Theresa, who admits that she is just an eighteen year old kid who doesn’t know what she’s doing. Based on everything that we know so far, this is only included because the author is trying to deflect criticisms about his perfect little brainchild. Theresa also admits that not doing anything can be a mistake sometimes. Come to think of it, don’t you think that a lot of her problems from earlier in the book would have been solved if
The biggest reason why updates to my sole remaining fanfic here come so slowly is that I don't spend a lot of time working on it, and the biggest reason for that is that I actually spend most of my time writing original work, and fanfic has become a bit of a palate cleanser for me in between.
Turns out Road to Wigan Pier - a book by George Orwell, though this one's without the pseudonym, so it's really written by Eric Arthur Blair, so I'm going to call him Eric to refer to the person and Orwell as his brand - is actually two books in one. The first half is thorough reporting on the poverty of coal mining communities in Britain during the 1940s, a very interesting look into the poverty of the very recent past:
Greetings and salutations, my friends.
This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.
Today, for the 5th installment of this year's "Spook Spectacular", I'm gonna give you guys my take of "Jurassic Park".
Here's the rundown of it:
There is a popular theory about Generation 5 going through the fandom right now, because of the Elements of Harmony merchandise that Sunny has in her bedroom. Namely that everything we have seen in Generation 4 never actually happened and is all just a TV show (or, alternatively, book) that exists in the world of Generation 5. This theory originated, probably independently, both in a comment on Equestria Daily and on Discord/Twitter:

Well, this was going to go up in autumn when I first put it on the schedule, but the intervening time in Maretime Bay shoved it into a much less thematically appropriate timeslot. So it goes; let’s close out the four royal seasons and see what’s worth remembering about this book.
Mansion Challenge Submission: Both Teams Edition!
Nova mumbled to himself as he let the great doors of GOB Mansion swing open before him and his companions.
“I should NOT have let you have that much to drink, Spark…”
Yeah, you heard that right. This blog is about The Friggin' Lunbra contest. I'm sorry that it ended the way it did, without anything ever getting judged. (I still learned a lot for a potential second contest.) A lot happened to keep things from getting results, including a lot of real life issues taking control of what I was up to and the judges. It's a long time past any point for results, or at least any super official results and prizes. So, I'm super sorry about that.
Team Illuminati's submission:
The team was sent to a small town in the human world nestled between a couple mountains. A beautiful rural town with friendly locals. GOB had told them that the reading would be at the town’s library.
The three entered the building to see the children waiting around a chair. They looked eager to hear the story they were promised.
“Alright, Sentinel you’re reading right?” Reneighah asked.
